I make stories, experiences and films that invite people to look at the world a little differently.

My work spans live experiences, film and digital media, from producing touring events across Canada and helping lead one of London’s largest immersive productions, to directing independent films and creating documentary-style comedy essays.

Across every project I’m interested in the same question:

Why do some experiences stay with us long after they’re over?

That curiosity has led me to produce live events, direct narrative films, investigate movies one film at a time, and build Action Story, the home for my original creative work.

Whether I’m developing an immersive attraction, producing a tour, directing a short film or hosting a YouTube investigation, I’m trying to make work that is thoughtful, entertaining and genuinely worth someone’s time.

FILM

  • Writer/ Director. A guidance counsellor and a teenager clash over a simple schedule change — but neither of them is ready for what surfaces.

  • Writer/ Director. An old-school real estate agent decides that the secret to success in a new generation is to get new headshots.

  • Writer/ Director. An interview for a telemarketing position goes off the rails when a mock call takes a personal turn.

  • An alternative, instrumental album created and recorded by Nick Dipchand. Created as an evolution from the first EP to form a cinematic and narrative whole — built by a landscape of rhythms and melodies that oppose each other.
